Multi prize-winning French horn player, Lin Jiang is one of Australia’s most sought-after horn soloists as well as being Hong Kong Philharmonic’s Principal horn.

Lin Jiang, was born in Shanghai, China and moved to Australia at the age of five. He started playing French horn at the age of 10.

Lin Jiang has performed as soloist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra, Australian Youth Orchestra, University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and many other community orchestras. He has recently released a CD of the Mozart horn concertos with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and a soon to be released CD of the Strauss and Gliere concertos with the Melbourne Symphony for the ABC Classics label, both under the baton of Barry Tuckwell. A solo CD for Melba records is currently being produced.
